[Under construction]
We are urging business leaders, employees and locals in Dublin to call on Dublin City Council to increase pedestrianisation of busy streets and shopping thoroughfares in the city centre.
The examples of Grafton Street and Henry Street demonstrate the benefits of pedestrianising inner city streets – for businesses, customers, tourists, passersby. Transforming streets in this way encourages greater numbers into these areas, increasing footfall and allowing people to linger for longer.
